Caribe Waste Technologies, Inc. (CWT), the IWT operation in the Caribbean basin, is in final negotiations for a facility to process up to 450,000 tons per year in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Permit applications are expected to be submitted in 2008.

Other Locations:

IWT has participated in three ongoing procurements. They are: the City of Los Angeles, a separate procurement in the County of Los Angeles and New York City.
IWT submitted its proposal to the City of Los Angeles on August 22, 2007 for a 1,246 ton per day facility.
Los Angeles County is scheduled to release their final Request for Proposals later in 2007. The New York City project is expected to proceed in early 2008.
