LA County Project

IIWT was selected the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works in a competitive study/procurement process to develop an alternative fuels project in LA County. The project will process approximately 620,000 tons of MSW per year and produce about 40 million gallons of ethanol. The ethanol and related RINs and the LCFS credits will be sold to a major oil company in southern California. The project will begin commercial operation in the fourth quarter of 2019.

Southeast Massachusetts Project

IWT was selected in a competitive procurement process to develop a waste to alternative fuels project in southeastern Massachusetts. The project will process approximately 620,000 tons of MSW per year and produce about 40 million gallons of ethanol. The ethanol and related RINs will be sold to a major oil company in Massachusetts. The project will begin commercial operation in the fourth quarter of 2019.
